RACE INFORMATION

  • 5K race begins at 8:00am
  • Strollers, runners, and walkers are all WELCOME!
  • No dogs allowed on race course
  • One water stop on course at the turnaround
  • Post race snacks and water available for participants

Race Swag:

  • Custom designed participant shirt (While supplies last for registrants after May 18, 2026)
  • Race bib
  • Finisher Medal
  • Swag Bag

Registration:

  • Registration is only available online
  • Registration closes Friday, June 5th at 11:59pm

Packet Pickup Information:

  • Friday, June 5th 3:00-7:00pm
  • Saturday, June 6th 6:00-7:15am prior to the race

Parking: American Legion Post 178, Wahoos Restaurant Overflow Lot, Lazy Gator Parking Lot

  • 5K Awards are Overall and Masters by Gun and the Age by chip
  • Overall Male and Female 1st place
  • Overall Masters Male and Female 1st place
  • Age Groups Male and Female 1st place only 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-up

Sons of The American Legion exists to honor the service and sacrifice of Legionnaires.

By participating in this event, you will join SAL members who have raised more than $9 million for The American Legion Child Welfare Foundation. SAL members have volunteered over 455,000 hours at veterans hospitals and raised over $1,600,000 for VA hospitals and VA homes.

The SAL continues to provide services to those in need in the LOCAL communities, through programs that include fundraising events such as this.
